Flashpoint Of The Civil War
On April 12, 1861, the Civil War began right here in Charleston at Fort Sumter. Our Fort Sumter cruise will take you around the fort, giving you plenty of opportunity to see this impressive, historic site from the water. Please note that we do not take guests to the Fort; our cruise remains in the harbor around the fort.
Charleston Harbor Sights
While you cruise through the harbor, you’ll have the opportunity to see a number of other attractions and sights. Catch a glimpse of the impressive USS Yorktown, a WWII aircraft carrier, or the lavish antebellum homes along the Charleston Battery. You may even see a pod of dolphins playing in the harbor, or any number of birds native to the low country region. Without a doubt, you’ll enjoy unique views of the city and all its history from the harbor!

Our Fort Sumter boat tour is ideal for the history buffs in your group. Therapy Fishing’s 23’ center console fishing boat can accommodate up to six people for cruises.
